Buried in Peru’s Desert, Fossils Draw Smugglers


Summary: This article is about huge fossils that lures fossil hunters and smugglers but these are not normal fossil the location where they found at use to be once vast ocean the OCUCAJE, Peru between the Andes and the Pacific a desert around the outpost in the south of Peru and looks like one of the worlds most desolate places there discoveries features gigantic fossil teeth from a legendary 50ft shark called the megalodon, the bones of a huge penguin with stunning colorful feathers and the biggest of all leviathan Mellvillei a whale with teeth larger than a Tyrannosaurus Rex the champion of the worlds largest predator ever to jaunt the ocean but these discoveries has sparked an invitation for smugglers and bone hunters that illegally collects fossils but Peru in general has is in surplus of archaeological dig sites which contain a lot of history about are pass world and the legendary creatures that ruled this world

Reaction: This article made me think a lot about what secrets that this world still has and what we have not unmasked and with some stuff in social studies
