As Bullies Go Digital, Parents Play Catch-Up

Summary ------> Marie a single mother and a son who live in
Newburyport , Massachusetts found out that someone forged her sons identity online and was bullying others in his name. On Facebook there was his profile page and comments of kids he barely new on his wall. Many kids shun him. Marie went to the school and reported what happened but there was nothing the school could do because it was an off-campus matter. She then turned to the police. But she isnt the only parent that has not gotten help from schools because it is an "off-campus matter."

Reaction -----> I think this is horrible that schools turn down parents because the situation is not in school.

  1. I know its a serious matter, but the schools cant do anything if the problem isn't where they are. Yet the police should do something about it, though...
