Officer Andre Menzies was killed by a man driving the wrong way in long island on his way home from work.Michael Bowen heading to west ran into Andre , a cop, a father, and a husband ! Michael didnt die but he had minor injuries. which is small injuries, and Andre DIES. This accendent happened in dix hills.Michael was drunk. not so long from this happened emily a girl was standing on a sidewalk when a drunk man hit her. Politician calls cops on boys, 13, for running unlicensed cupcake stand

Summary: So as City Councilman Michael Wolfensohn was walking through a park, he spotted two boys selling cupcakes, cookies, brownies, and Rice Krispie treats for $1. Reaction: First off, I wanted to post this article because of how silly it is. Boys cannot even sell cookies any more? Does that mean the police need to be called every time my 5 year old sister (I actually don't have one, but lets pretend I do for a second) tries to make a little money by setting up a small lemonade stand? Come on!

I also genuinely feel bad for these middle school boys. One of the boys' moms even told the newspaper that her son was crying the whole way home from the park, and that he was scared that he'd be arrested or have a criminal record. Poor kids.

On 111510 a officer was killeed in a two car craash. The polie officer , Andrew Menzies , was struck in the head by a van that was driving in the wrong direction . 50 year old , Michael Bowen was arrested for reckless driving . Police officer Andrew Menzies was a father of 4 & a nineteen year veteran of the NYPD . Michael Bowen is currently being held with a fine of 350,000 bail.
