Irans president, Mahmound Ahmadinejal feels the best age for girls to get married is ages 16-18. Analysts think this could be part of the government trying to get support from young voters. An Iranian political analyst says that there is a parliamentary election in 2012 and that hardliners want to win young peoples vote. Authorities have been encouraging marrige as a way to fight what they call"Spread of Immortality among youth." Shirin Ebadi, a human rights activist was awarded the Nobel Peace Prize in 2003 for her hard work on womens and childrens rights in Islamic Republic.
Reaction: Well I think that you can't force anyone to get married at a certain age. Not even over politics. Anyway to me girls ages 16-18 are still young they still have alot to learn before marrige. They still got their whole life ahead of them. And I think the people of Iran should respect that, and not be in a rush to make them grow up.

This is crazy what is this world coming to.16 and 18 is not the righy age they still have there whole life ahead of them.
