Christmas Blizzard of 2010: Mayor Bloomberg defends NYC's response to winter storm, mass transit

Summary -----> This article is about New York having the sixth largest snowstorm in history. There were four foot drifts. This blizzard was about 18 to 24 inches of snow. Good thing was that no deaths were reported. Many complaints were going around about snow-clogged roads and AWOL plows. The sanitation department said most of the major avenues were being plowed , but side streets were a big problem. The three major area airports are closed. Many subway lines, tunnels and bridges were closed . Buses and taxis were very hard to find. Many people spent the night in airports. Mayor Bloomberg said that tomorrow there were going to be limited services and this wasn`t going to be an easy task.


Reaction---- > Wow , I cant even remember the last time we had such a huge blizzard. I dont really think the city handled the blizzard too well. The street I live in wasnt even plowed so a lot of cars were stuck. We tryed calling 311 and they werent even available. The city could have done better because peoples tax money is put into this.

17- year old gunned down at Bronx subway station, NYPD questions 14

This article was about a 17 year old that was shot in the chest at west farms square east tremont ave train station. This happen about 1:24 am at the train station. They questioned 14 people that got off with Lewis at that time . And they said that they dint see no one that did it. Lewis was taken to St. Barnabas hospital where he later died. He was arrested twice for a robbery. Right now there has not been any arrests. So they are trying to find the shooter that did it.


Reaction: And he dint even live around here. Why would someone shot him even though they know that they will be find. And probably he was married and had kids and they dint know. This is just sad.

This article is about a singer name Teena Marie. Also, they found Teena Marie body laying dead next to her daughter in her house in California. Also, they said she die of age 54 in her bed. Then her manager said that Teena Marie had a black voice trap in a white woman body and that she was one of the greatest vocalists of our time. Also, they said that Teena Marie suffer a grand mal seizure and then it happen again then they said that many of black people had wish to have her voice.

Jessica Fashano, 27, dies in jump from 40-story Trump Place Tower

Summary ; Jessica Fashano was only 27 when she jumped from the top of the tower thats was 4O floors hiqh on Riverside Blvd . She landed on the third-floor roof and died . People say she sneaked into the building and climbed to the roof then jumped off and they also said Fashano knew someone who lived there it the building .They Don't know why she jumped, police said .
